Mobius Megatar have announced the launch of the much-anticipated MidiTapper. These instruments are based on the "TrueTapper" neck and body, with the addition of Mobius "Photon-Midi" hex pickups, which can drive synthesisers such as the Roland GR33 or the Roland V-Guitar system.

The innovative "Photon-Midi" pickup is exclusive to Mobius, and meters light itself to track the moving string, for unparallelled tracking speed.

MidiTapper comes with tone controls, the Buzz Feiten Intonation System so it plays in tune all up and down the fretboard, standard 13-pin output connectors to cable to your synth gear, synth volume knobs, and synth control buttons. Also includes the usual Megatar accessories.

The MidiTapper comes in two variants: "Solo" has a set of six bass strings and a set of six melody strings with the Photon-Midi hex pickup installed on the melody strings; "Twin" has two sets of melody strings, normally tuned in our 'Bi-Melody' tuning, with Photon-Midi pickups on both sides.      For full details - CLICK HERE.
