More Pickups and More Sound!

The 'MaxTapper' provides more pickups and more sound, and is built of premium woods.

Features: The MaxTapper is crafted of premium dark woods for a warm sound, and also boasts a factory-installed GraphTech nut and saddle package for enhanced brilliance and sustain. Normally comes with "String Saver" (charcoal coloured), but you may also choose "Tusq" (ivory coloured) nut and saddles. Complementing the woods are specially selected pickups - one pickup for bass strings and one pickup for melody strings, each with its own volume and tone controls. Dual trussrods and fully adjustable bridge provide a smooth playing surface. All MaxTapper models come with adjustable strap plus Schaller Security Strap Locks, method book, heavy duty stereo cable and quality gigbag.

The MaxTapper "Quad" - Four switch-selectable Bartolini pickups, two for bass and two for melody.

Purpose: The MaxTapper may be favored by the professional player, because of the wider range of sound available on the job. Although it will play prettily on ballads, its sound is not as clean and clear as the basic TrueTapper. However, its warm and smooth tone will make it a better instrument for jazz and nightclub performers, especially those who must play melody solos. As always, the addition of common effects will make it suitable for rock players. The bass side of the instrument will be especially rich, and bass players are likely to prefer it. This instrument will appeal to the musician most concerned with getting the best sound possible, and a wide variety of tones.
